CRI and its subsidiaries provide services for individuals with mental retardation, mentalillness, physical disabilities, and those who are homeless in Virginia and Maryland. CRI served more than 1,200 consumers in 2001 and has 350 employees. Most of the consumers served reside in Arlington County. Arlington County purchases services from the Community Havens, Inc.’s affiliates. Per Community Havens, Inc. in FY 2002 Arlington County would purchase up to $2.2 million worth of services. For FY 2003 Community Havens, Inc. expects to sell services to Arlington County up to $1.8 million. Community Havens, Inc. and its affiliates provide a continuum of services, ranging from the provision of case management services on an as-needed basis, to weekly training and assistance in subjects such as money management and living skills, to 24 hour supervision in their homeless traditional facility.
