Recent polling of Virginia 10th district voters had Comstock and Foust alternating the lead by a few percentage points, however in the past several weeks Foust has fallen precipitously. Political analysts state that if he falls below 35% his chances of winning drop to near zero. State level Democrats have raised concerns about his lackluster campaign and inability to motivate their base, let alone capture independent voters.
Polls are conducted weekly using a sample of 1,338 registered voters and adjusted for gender, racial, age, education, and income to reflect the district as a whole.
