He's number #1 if only because he was so prescient. . Go back and read his 1944 comment on Socialism. He warned America that the Socialists and Democrats were becoming one and the same.

Bill N. suggested the U.S. would be better if it adopted European socialist economic policies:

"Spend three months in western Europe and you are unlikely to say that again."

Here are the unemployment rates for European Union nations for May according to statists.com:

Spain 25.1%
Portugal 14.3%
Italy 12.6%
Ireland 12.0%
EUROPEAN UNION 10.3%
France 10.1%
The Netherlands 7.0%

So, sure it's lovely walking down the street in Paris. But socialism always stifles economic growth. If you are part of the European governmental power structure and can live off others, you are okay. Otherwise, things are tough.

So Henry A. Wallace was right.

You missed the point retard. To compare the Democratic Party to Socialists is funny. On the political spectrum in Europe, the party would barely be considered Centre-Left.

Ask any European if Obama is a Socialist and they will laugh at you. Most Americans are so fucking ignorant, they think anything that involves the government is Socialism.

Sadly, most are too lazy to pick up a fucking book and educate themselves.
