has anyone had any experience with judge tran yet? is he fair with his sentencing? a friend is currently in ffx county adc with 3 felony counts against him and we're wondering if judge tran will be kind with his sentencing or if he'll throw the book at him. being that he's such a new judge there's really not that much information out there about him but he seems like a nice enough guy. just hoping to get some insight. thanks all!

Judge Tran isn't what he appears to be. He can go either way. It can be very deceptive. First you think everything is going well, then all of a sudden you realize he has no Adam's apple and he wasn't born a man at all. WTF, right?

I beat my dog to death, Judge Tran thought it was funny and dismissed the case. The guy after me stole a golden cat statue off someones porch, judge Tran gave him 6 months for that.

I find his brother, Fas, to be a cooler person.

Judge Tran was pretty fair with me I only received 30 days in FFX County ADC all suspended with time served (1 night), community service and a $200 fine.

I seriously got off easily considering these were my charges:

-160 mph in a school zone
-50 lbs of meth on the front passenger seat
-4 illegal Hondurans in my trunk
-BAC was a 6.8
-1 Scud missile strapped to the roof of my car
-Expired registration
-Hello Kitty bumper sticker partially obstructing my license plate

They dismissed everything except for the Hello Kitty bumper sticker. I guess in retrospect that was a pretty stiff penalty for a silly bumper sticker obstruction.

BTW he does not go easy on J-walkers or anyone who has overdue parking tickets. If you fall into this category then you're probably looking at 3-5 in Greenville.

Hope this helps and best of luck to you.

He is a HS friend, and he is an exceptionally nice guy, not sure how he sentences, but I can absolutely attest to his character and disposition

Yes, he's fair...and fair for someone convicted of three felonies will be some serious time in our fair Commonwealth's correctional system.

Tell your friend to enjoy the ass rape, gagging, and HIV. Good times.
