My bank and credit union have no American employees. I can't even understand the folks in the branch. I guess they are too cheap to hire actual Americans. Can anybody recommend a Bank that has folks from around here?

That's where you're wrong. The staff at Apple are 100% better than places such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc. I used to bank at those other banks and it was nothing but a sh!t show each time I'd use one of their branches.

Maybe the difference is between these banks you mistakenly patronized and Apple Federal Credit Union? A CU is almost always a superior place to do your banking business.

If you want Americans working as tellers at banks, get a job as a teller. Or have your kids work as tellers. If you aren't willing to make that sacrifice then don't bitch because other Americans living in this area who have the skills and work ethic won't either.

According to BLS, there are about 500K people working as tellers in the US. Their mean annual wage is about $28K. Some of those are hoping to become a head teller, where salaries of $35-40K are common. The rest are hoping to find a job in some better paying field altogether.

I don't think that the nationality of bank employees are more important than services that Bank offer you. In my opinion nationality don't reflect the people's professionalism. In my bank are accepted people, are they employees or costumers. They always advice and consult me with all thinks. Recently I told to one of the employees from financial department that I spend a lot of time finding a bank near me , and he adviced me to to check https://banknearme.today/truist-bank/ , and find more convinient location. A nationality don't define a person or the work he is doing.
