Help me rank the best and worst counties in Virginia!!!

Best County : Goochland ( max points for the cool name )

Worst County : Henrico ( run by the wastetoid Terry McAwfull )

Most pretentious self-important snobby County : Loudoun ( you'd be nothing without your job in Fairfax, Arlington, or DC )

You so realize that Fast Terry runs the STATE of Virginia. A County Manager runs Henrico County.

The worst county would be Buchanan County. Lots of meth out there, and it's not only the poorest county in Virginia, but one of the poorest in the nation. It is also home to the Appalachian School of Law, which is one of the lowest rated law schools in the nation.

How the fuck are we supposed to know about all the counties in VA? I only know NOVA. If we're talking NOVA, PW County is shit...it's the PG County of VA. Best would be FFX County.

I agree, Fairfax is the best all around; convenience, schools, transit, stores... etc.
Loudoun is rich but it is run by a bunch of idiots, sadly.
PW has problems but who knows it might come around; it has a lot going for it already.
Arlington and Alexandria are great and are only getting better.

Many of the poor folk from Alexandria and Arlington are moving to PW and I suppose this is contributing to perceived (but not necessarily real) ghettoness and crime that many people talk about. From the crime stats that I have seen, PW is actually safer (crimes per 100,000 people) than Henrico and Chesterfield which are both considered very safe suburban areas.

Accomack and adjacent Northampton County are the two poorest counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Buchanan, by comparison, is the fifth-poorest county in Virginia.
