wth is going on with this helicopter circling around ffx co courthouse today... it's been going on for half an hour now..

Hearing it too... Very annoying and it happens too often. Too many low-flying aircrafts around here. Thought I was just being weird and too sensitive up until a friend visited me and freaked out and kept repeating WTF?

No, there's a couple cop cars parked on the street and this helicopter is parked now kind of near the Starbucks area... they're sending out notifications via text that courthouse dr, chain bridge rd and main st at west dr are closed...

Brilliant idea - I forgot they make apps for that! Activity on judicial has calmed down, but I still hear the copter.

Maybe something made them take it more seriously? Perhaps the person who made the threat spoke with an Arab accent? I'd definitely take it more seriously then.

I wasn't thinking. I got bomb threat confused with fire alarm. Never been through a BT, but have been through 2 or 3 FA's.

It out to be easy to find this person. My guess is the person is listed for trial today on some offense.
Time to start looking at those lists and cross referencing phones or emails.
So how would that work?
I guess you try to find some anonymous wifi spot and email from a free email account.
You could track the IP down to the place and check cameras or receipts from that area. Maybe the person who called or emailed the threat was dumb enough to buy something on a credit card with their name nearby.
