Google Street View filming in Northern Virginia today

The Google Street View car, with its panoramic camera atop, is traveling around parts of Northern Virginia and central Virginia today.

The car was spotted this afternoon on Prince William Parkway near Smoketown Road in Woodbridge.

Google Street View offers street-level, 360-degree imagery of most major metropolitan areas and public interest sites in the U.S., and has imagery from all seven continents. It's available on Google Maps and Google Earth.

Today, the street car was scheduled to film in Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William, Richmond, Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Henrico, Petersburg and Prince George.
