NBA gets a pass on China

So can anyone explain to me how the "woke" NBA players paint themselves as heroes embracing BLM, kneeling for the anthem etc., yet turn a blind eye to rampant human rights abuses in China purely for $$ - and no one calls out the BS? Ive lost all respect for the NBA. Unbelievable.
