Police say a man was stabbed to death early Thursday in what appeared to be a neighborhood dispute in the Cloverdale section of Dale City.
It happened in the 15000 block of Cloverdale Road in Woodbridge earlier this morning.
Police say they have the suspect in custody. The victim was an adult male.
Authorities plan to release more information later today.
The incident is Prince William County's third murder of the year. In May, a 19-year-old Woodbridge man was charged with stabbing to death a 22-year-old Dumfries man in an argument on the victim's front porch.
And detectives are still trying to find the three men who shot and killed a young mother working at Platanillo's Grocery in Woodbridge earlier this year.

Police have charged 31-year-old Brandon Curtis Hampton Henry with stabbing two people, one fatally, during a gathering in Dale City late Wednesday.
Police were called to the 15000 block of Cloverdale Road around 11:45 p.m. for a stabbing and found one victim in the front yard of a house with a stab wound to the chest.
Alvin Elroy Cannon, 44, of Dale City, was taken to the hospital, where he died.
During the investigation, a 33-year-old Manassas man, also suffering stab wounds to the upper body, approached police. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathon Perok.
Detectives were able to identify Henry as a suspect and eventually found him at a house in the 14400 block of Fillarette Street.
Henry, of no fixed address, was charged with murder and aggravated malicious wounding, Perok said. He is being held without bond.
Perok said the stabbing was not random and stemmed from a dispute during a gathering at a house on Cloverdale Road.

In my opinion this website is extremely repulsive. So many people just talking trash about one another, having no remorse or proof of the allegations being made. This site is filled with people who have nothing better to do than hurt other from behind a computer screen. Why this should be a website about helping others and passing information around a community not a war zone where people put other people on trial and say horrible things about people. This is no better than cyber bullying except the anonymous names prevent you from having to reveal who they are. This is like a middle school where people do nothing but start rumors about others to hurt people’s feelings.

I find you to be repulsive, and sissified.
I think this site is great!...It can be very informative, very funny, and especially with the crime reports, it allows everyone to see the astounding rate of crime committed by blacks......and this isn't even the inner city, where nigger crime is even worse.
