John R. Lewis was one of the suggestions made to the school board by Scotty Brabrand. So glad the school board took the time to thoughtfully consider the several hundred suggestions from the Fairfax County community. Dr. B's is the only opinion that matters. So much for a community engagement process.

It isn't the changing racial mix of FCPS that has caused its problems. It is the changing broader socio-economic mix within the county coupled with a change in the educational philosophy. We'd be in just as much trouble today if the eastern and southern parts of the county were overrun with poor undereducated white people.
