That is way too much. Get rid of the landline and get majic jack, its $35 a year and works great!

Internet(25 mpbs download) - cable (Goes up to like 100~ channels without the box) - $120 per month

Leasing 2 HD boxes (Gets me a few more channels like BBC/Nat Geo) - $12

Magic Jack - $3~ per month

$135 per month total

Cox Digital Phone is not a landline phone. Landline = POTS = copper.

Just graduate to households of ten years ago... go with your mobile phone for everything. If your house line phone number is so important, port it to your mobile phone.

I switched from Cox to Verizon Fios last year. Got a $500.00 Visa giftcard and landline, internet (faster than Cox), and cable with ALL the premium channels for $168 a month for the first year. Recently went up to $198.00 per month since my 1st year was up. That is still less than I was paying for Cox for just internet and cable (with premiums). It will go up again in a year though because I got the premium channels for 1/2 price for 2 years.

shut up you are posting cock sucker ads cable service more than 1x a week

last time cox came over they:

1) changed location of box, refused to route wire said i had to go buy equipment

2) refused to put a battery in, in an emergency i cannot call 911

3) entered my personal room w/o asking and was at a computer he didn't understand trying to operate it

*** -> caught the nigger with his hand in box and he quickly retracted his hadn to his pocket

i didn't demand to frisk him i'm not sure how i could have. i probably should have

cox is overbilling my elderly parents who are either paying intending to squander money or more likely are , due to age , unaware of the overbilling and true cost

(mind you: tv had been free, telephone had been $20/mo w/internet in 1980s)

i've tried to talk about this to them politely at least a few time they express that they have no worry

----------------------
how do i sue cox for taking advantage of the elderly ?

I know somebody who got the Cox bundle - Cox changed their phone number even though it advertises that it doesn't.
