Fri, June 12th Brad Carruthers, President of the Fairfax County Fraternal Order of Police stated Chief Roessler has lost the confidence of the Fairfax County Police force and called for his resignation. Carruthers appeared on the WMAL talk radio show hosted by Larry O’Connor. O’Connor interviewed several Fairfax County policeman and got their reactions to the Chief’s recent firing and charging of Office Timberlake for the tazing of an uncooperative citizen. Carruthers criticized the Chief for ignoring the Department’s due process for the investigation of use of force, rushing to judgment, and publicly condemning Officer Timberlake. O’Connor said that Roessler used Officer Timberlake as a scape goat to assuage public opinion during a time when police use of force is a volatile topic.

Carruthers also called for a boycott of Cox's Farms because there was a Black Lives Matter" sign near their property. He thinks the phrase "Black Lives Matter" is anti-cop. Shows you what a fuck this guy is.

Roessler should be fired, he immediately threw his officers under the bus without a proper investigation just to cover his coward ass. He must be planning on running for a democrat office. From what I saw the officer used non lethal means to suppress an incoherent man that was stumbling around in the middle of the road high on drugs or having a psychotic episode and ranting nonsense. That guy was clearly a danger to others or himself. What was he supposed to do, they tried to reason with the guy and offered him help to no avail. The officers involved deserve a promotion and a raise. I hope they bring a law suit and win big.

Brad retired from Fairfax County but he is still talking for those officers. I guess there are no police officers within the county who will step up and make those statements.

I am sure the residence of Fairfax will not mind paying the officer a big payout after all of this goes to court.

BLM built on a lie and continues to push a false agenda. Don't fight the cops, man up and go to jail the fight the system.

Brad has to speak for the officers because otherwise there will be a witch hunt on ANY officer who speaks out. The public really doesn't know how poorly run the police department is but they will soon find out. My advice, sell now while the market is up, Fairfax is about to go down the bowl.

The public safety departments in Fairfax are filled with assholes and genuinely nasty people. But there's one less now that DC Duke retired
