As you'll recall ... Amy retaliated against a black man named Christian Cooper (no relation) back on Memorial Day after he, a bird watcher, complained that her dog was off-leash ... in violation, he felt, of a law requiring dogs to be on-leash in Central Park from 9 AM to 9 PM.
Her response, which Christian caught on video, was to threaten to call NYPD and "tell them there's an African-American man threatening my life" ... and she did.
The vid went viral, and despite Amy issuing an apology, she was fired from her job at Franklin Templeton ... which stated, "We do not tolerate racism of any kind."

At Yale University, a Black graduate student says she was racially profiled when a White student called the university police on her because she was taking a nap in the common room of the dorm. There was also the incident in Oakland, California where a White woman called the police on a group of Black people for simply barbecuing. And who could forget Teresa Klein, the White woman in Brooklyn, New York who called the police on a 9-year-old boy for allegedly grabbing her behind. The footage determined that she was mistaken. In the above-mentioned occurrences, the virality of the videos allowed the world to see how Black people are unfairly stalked, victimized and accused of wrongdoing. History has shown us that a frequent outcome in these situations is death, from Emmett Till to the recent viral video of the brutal killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The silver lining in many of aforementioned situations is that when the world saw what happened, swift actions were taken in an effort to rectify the situation. What is problematic, though, is that once the world forgets about these cases, the accusers are able to resume their normal lives and find gainful employment, with little thought to how they’ve impacted their victims. What all of these situations have in common is that these women who are now being defined as ‘Karen’ feel such a sense of authority and entitlement that they don’t take into consideration how their actions will affect others.

The employee who called the police, as was corporate procedure in situations like this at the time, now no longer works for that hotel. This is what happens when people do not give each other the benefit of the doubt and do nothing to try to work things out themselves. Yet, the sad thing is, that the corporate policy mandating that the employee call the cops was probably put into place because trying to sort stuff like this out in the past had backfired and led to the same sorts of accusations.

Calling the cops on nogs is always a good idea. Even if you don't see a crime being committed, it's going to happen very soon and you might as well get the cops en route.
Negros are actually allowed to file false police reports. How many hate crime reports have been called in by coloreds that did it themselves or just made the whole thing up? And they are rarely charged.

Basically, the normal inconveniences and misunderstanding of daily life are now being twisted into being "racism."
For some inexplicable reason black people are being taught to believe that white people are never confronted by ignorant or over-zealous or stupid people. White people never call the cops on other white people you know. Never. My neighbor never called the cops because my music was too loud. A white person never cut me off in traffic. An idiot white customer service rep never accused me of shoplifting without evidence... twice. The white state trooper never pulled me over and falsely accused me of littering and when I protested he didn't give me a reckless driving ticket. I could go on and on and on.
When it happens to white people they consider the perpetrators of an uncivil confrontation to be assholes. When it happens to black people it's confirmation of racism. Most of the time it's just people being assholes.

I would love to see some numbers on that. Not a half dozen examples, but legit statistics comparing the demographics of who is freed by DNA evidence relative to the overall prison population.

These are the ones who actually got their cases heard. Not everyone is lucky enough to have that. That's also just from DNA. So of course there's other people who have not have their cases heard. Others who were out right fasley accused. So that means the numbers are much higher.

I appreciate the data. The missing piece is that they were locked up due to white witnesses lying. Granted in your defense that data would probably be super hard to find.
If I had to guess the underlying injustice for those wrongfully convicted is they were represented by an overworked/inexperienced public defender. Once again, just a guess but it does seem the poor get fucked and the rich wiggle their way out... except Epstein he was rich and still got executed.
Those 362 definitely got fucked by the system, which speaks to injustices and the need for reform. But I think the problem might be more complex than white man bad.
