Please be aware that the Springfield Country Club fireworks show is for MEMBERS ONLY. Local attorneys have been notified of when the show will take place. They will issue summonses to any non-member attempting to view the fireworks. The Country Club will enforce its rights vigorously in a court of law.

It sucks really bad. Don't move here.
Car fires and helicopters every night.
Dogs and cats have sex together at all nights.
Stay away.

I love it. Very quiet, almost no crime, half acre lots, lots of mature trees and woods, golf course, among the best schools in the county and state, easy access to the major highways, nearby stores, and conveniently located so you can commute to any part of the region.
Our kids went to private school, but the elementary school is almost like a private school -- and mostly white if that matters to you.
Someone asks about the country club fireworks every year on this forum.
I have watched them from across the street from the parking lot where Giant is.
Oh and Springfield is a very nice place to live, if you know how to make the best of it.
As we have done for several years now, the Club has hired several tow trucks who have received special permission from the Commonwealth to remove any vehicle within a 5 mile radius of the Club which belongs to someone watching the Club's fireworks who is not a member.

I'll be waiting with my CCW and permit and my "Come and Take it" flying in the wind.
See you soon Judge Smails.
Nobody is talking about trespassing on the club's property. That they go to so much trouble every year to act as though they can police the sky is a bit pathetic. Park in the Giant or school parking lot across the street and stay in your car. They own their land. They do not own the sky.
The country club has hired a large group of Korean women that have been supplied with Official Springfield Country Club cocktail forks, to put out the eyes of anyone(non-members)attempting to view/watch/enjoy the fireworks.
As before - This enforcement will be within a 5 mile radius of center of Springfield Country Club.

Interfering with a tow truck driver executing his duties and responsibilities in the Commonwealth is a crime. Any and all violators will be sent directly to my court and will be processed. Processed...with extreme prejudice.
It is funny all these trolls giving phony information. Of course the fireworks are on July 4, just like they should be. Anyone telling you otherwise is hoping you go on the wrong date and miss them.

Nobody's bragging about membership. Anyone who can afford the initiation and monthly dues is welcome. I'm sure you can appreciate that the club's facilities and events (such as our fireworks) are meant for the use and enjoyment of club members and their guests only. They were paid for by the club and the club is private and exclusive.
Feel free to ignore this message...fees collected from towing cars give us a nice subsidy. In 2013, we towed 73 cars...we're hoping to exceed that this year.

I regret posting this bc I think of how west Springfield has changed since I bought a property in 98. Too many spics and pakis from a apt area called tivoli run by a woman that is a cunt named Cindy. I can easily see the club overrun by illegals not respecting boundaries nor trespassing laws. Even the non illegals are bad esp the cheap Jews that live in that townhouse development off rolling near the inflatable tennis courts. Is that bald fag Bruce still selling homes in that area? What a prick. Anchored on to single mom Tanya and made it look like HE BUILT HIS BUSINESS, off her back. Went to school with her daughter sunny. I would love to see a photoshop of Bruce with a horrible toupe on his head.
Please do not park in the Cardinal Forest Giant/CVS/TD Ameritrade parking lot to view the fireworks @ Springfield Country Club. No loitering signs are posted and we have hired several off-duty FCPD to enforce the law and issue summons to those not patronizing our businesses.

Fuk cardinal forest AND TOM MAZZEI! is that asshat still alive??? Loved how he would falsify the associations Rental/owner numbers to keep FHA loans possible! Loved how he treated Edgar, a maintenance worker, like a fukn slave u til he got fed up and quit! Then, he hired a drug addict guy that had a fat fuk brother that worked at the shell gas station. That creep would bring his beagle to work and ask sexual explicit questions/requests for weed, EVERYTIME I would go in there for cigs /gas late nite (0200).
Hopefully the Royal isn't having anything too crazy that night.
I drove by Rolling and Old Keene Mill Friday night around 10:15 and it looked like something out of Anacostia, DC. Packs everywhere.
10 police cars at the Sunoco and a crowd at the Shell loitering with car doors open and stereo blasting .. all dancing around ...
Also a pack coming wandering into Old Keene Mill from the Golf Course.
When I first moved to Springfield and heard about the fireworks, I saw this forum. and it scared me away from watching the fireworks because i thought people were serious about the towing, fining thing. I went last year and joined the hundreds gathered in Giant's parking lot without a hitch. Watched kids with their sparklers and the bank was giving away prizes. Ya'll are too funny. the fireworks, btw, were really awesome. Better almost than DC's. Go out and have fun. I plan on going again tonight. The country club can't police public property.

Parking on public streets is not illegal.
YES, park on any road around the country club. You can view the fireworks easily.
Honestly I saw their fireworks one year and they weren't that great. I also would never pay to attend Springfield Country club.
Lived in Springfield for 15 years. Can hear and see fireworks from the club. Usually go off around 9pm on the 3rd...every year. Don't listen to the trolls....
All of you trolls should really focus your energy on a something positive. I called the country club today as a non-member and they were happy to tell me when the fireworks were taking place. Thanks to TD Bank for hosting a great event and thanks to Springfield Country Club for sharing.
Ha! would you believe an illegal immigrant who tries to post in English "All of you trolls should really focus your energy on a something positive" ? What? No wonder you missed the fireworks Sunday night.
Nice fireworks, but short lived as usual. The parking lot at Giant was packed as were side streets with people in chairs along Old Keene Mill Road. Not too bad, for a short show.
I went several years ago and the Giant Parking lot then was almost empty.
Springfield is getting overcrowded it seems.
We will be holding an open house this year to coincide with our annual fireworks display. From 11:00am until 9:30pm on Sunday July 1. Come swim in our pool, play a round of golf, enjoy our fine food and beverages. Ice cream and games for the kids! Mix and mingle. Ask one of our members to show you around and talk with them about applying for membership! Shortly after 9:00pm, join our members on the veranda, or pull up a chaise on the grounds and enjoy our breathtaking fireworks. All free to our wonderful neighbors in Springfield!
Parking restrictions will be in place and as always, our contracted wrecker drivers have been deputized and will be strapping smoke-wagons. Fines can be paid in cash to the driver directly. Credit cards also accepted with an 18% processing fee.
Oh...and the fireworks are on July 5th this year. If you come on the 4th, the only thing you'll see...are trespassing citations.
I wonder how many ILLEGALS will loiter to watch fireworks this year?
West Springfield has the pet store murderer, tranny heroin addict, DEAD U2 heroin addict and......
I'll see your ladder...and raise you some M24 rifles supported by a fleet of drones with HD optics. An M24 can cover 4,900 feet in each direction of that wall. A couple of watch towers...you get the picture. When that wall goes up, ain't nobody coming over it alive.
Bic Mac, a taquito or an Einstein bagel will be in hand. Will be in Giant Food near the front window until the works start to soak up the AC and keep the mosquito bites to a minimum.
The shopping center parking lot will be impassible so don't plan on driving through during the works.
Lots of people but not too much English will be spoken.
Fireworks will be Short and Sweet .. That's how SCC likes em.
