Ultraworld parties are ALWAYS the best. They never fail to amaze and intoxicate. I have been to several at the DC Armory and had an interesting experience one year in the parking lot of the venue for starscape that precluded me actually entering the event. Security is usually more concerned with the actual safety of people and brazen crime than personal indulgences.

All of this despite the fact that Lonnie Fisher, the guy who runs Ultraworld, comes off like he should should be a candidate for an underworld character on "The Wire" on HBO.

Or perhaps because of this fact.

How old do you have to be to get in?

For Starscape? I would guess 18. Having minors at an event like that is just asking for some kind of "incident" that will be blown up by the local press because it happened to a kid.

Raves can also be found on the party boat potomac.,

Go to the Torpedo factory dock at about 3 AM on Sundy nights. a dingy will pull up to the dock. All you have to do is ask for jessica Simpsons fresh catch of the day when he asks which one say chicken of the sea and climb in. He will then take you to the party cruise rave ship

Anyone remember that club that used to be in downtown Fairfax on Main street? it was next door to TT Reynolds. I think its an indian restaurant now. Anyway good times. Went to see the Pietasters there and the fake rude boys started a fake ruckus and the cops came and rousted everyone out and we all spilled onto main street and caused a scene. Good times

Gravis,
I heard it from the Cubik news letter. It's all part of the SE remodeling to make way for the new Nats stadium.

Yeah apparently the area where they are building the Nats new stadium is where all the gay clubs are. THey had this on the news. Some Lisping club owner was all bummed out that his haven was gonna go away for a sports arena. Oh well. Guess Dupont just got a lil pricier for them
