Apparently Best Buy in Fair Lakes is closed b/c of riot threats to the West Springfield police station. Any news on this?

Earlier today there was some buzz about The Fair Oaks substation. Out of an abundance of caution, area merchants were alerted. It was made clear that while no threats were determined to be real, to be safe, the intelligence was shared. Best Buy may have taken steps accordingly.

Understood. Thank you. Apparently all protests in Ffx Co so far have been actual protests, and not riots, which is well within their rights. However, I’d rather be prepared than surprised to see swaths of people in the street or a shopping center. I heard there are 2 protests planned for Friday @ 5:00pm in the Centreville area (Centrewood Plaza & St. Germaine Giant) as well. Any other SA would be appreciated. Stay frosty!

I protest on regular basis, and would like them to be held near large stores, preferably with brand name merchandise.

Establishments with glass windows are also preferred.

What is the going rate to appear at a protest? Is Soros still paying $25/hr, or has that gone up due to supply and demand? And that's cash, isn't it? I don't want a check or any of that bullshit!

Honestly, it seems like he’s/they’re paying more than that. He seems to have nondepletable funds.

While extremely wealthy, he probably doesn't have nondepletable funds; although $40 billion is pretty damn close. What he does have is a network of people who agree with him that contribute to "The Fund". What will be interesting is what happens when he dies. He is 90 years old.

You people are maligning good Americans practicing their constitutional rights.

I come from a proud family of protestors. My grandpa protested against the Vietnam War, because it was immoral, and my own father protested against Ronald Reagan, because he was, well, Ronald Reagan.

The least I could do to honor my family legacy is to do my part and protest against this police brutality. If I happen to chance across an item of merchandise or two during the execution of my civic duty, I will gladly take such items home to protect them from the police who will undoubtedly steal them when they arrive at the scene.

Say what you will, I will be sure that my children, too, will honor this proud legacy.

Please post your address here so that I too might exercise your family’s legacy of protesting while looting the property of others.

Meanwhile things are quiet in PG County. It's as if the troublemakers all left the county at once.
