I feel like Trump supports the bible the same way Hilary supports poor people. A bit of lip service but with a lot of underlying indifference bordering on disgust.

I haven't encountered anyone who has had a religious awakening because of Trump because they know it's all superficial with him. That said I know a lot of religious people who like him, not because they think he's religious or moral but he pushes their pro-life cause. I've had a few tell me they voted for Pence.

Maybe some trumptards have started recently blurting christian babble but I doubt its many. Similar to most Hilary supporters will talk a good game but the idea of socially spending time with the economically downtrodden is beneath them. They say they want legislation to help but then refer to them as the "low-expectation dropout types" with disdain.

I'm going with he has religiously won over roughly zero of the legit atheists though.

To take a stab at OP's initial question. Just because you like someone doesn't mean you adopt their religion. Chappelle is hilarious, doesn't mean you convert to Islam. Cruise is a good actor, doesn't mean you do anything other than make fun of Scientology. I'm sure there are a million other examples.

Trump's religious references are just attempts to throw some red meat at his base. Many of them are evangelicals so they eat it up.

Remember when Trump was deciding to run for president he called a few Republican political types in. They said you can't run as a Republican because you're pro-choice. (he had repeatedly publicly claimed to be "the most pro-choice" person in the country). Without hesitation he said, OK, I'll change to pro-life.

Well sir, they said, you gave money to a bunch of Dems including Hillary . He denied it vigorously. They said, that it's public information and they had looked it up. He was surprised that it was public info so he was caught in a lie.

Next problem they said was, you haven't voted in years. He said, I have never missed an election since I was 18 years old. Once again, they told him it was public information and they had verified that he rarely voted.

The point is that he has no moral compass, he'll take any position if it helps him win. He has no deep religious beliefs, he just says what ever his base wants to hear. And they eat it up and ignore his three marriages in which he cheated on all three wives with porn stars.!

You're right I don't really identify as a trump supporter even though I've grown to like him more than during the election in which I didn't vote for him.

Within the hard core trump supporters there are plenty of people who don't attend services but I think very few self proclaimed atheists. So in that case I don't think there are any "atheist (true) trump supporters" making the question moot.
