Fairfax County will no longer approve any new gas retail locations. Older stations will be closed as they fail to meet regulations.

There are a fuckload of gas stations around here. When was the last time you had to wait for a pump? I cannot even remember. The problem with that though is that they will have to work at getting people coming and going in a logical manner. Right now, with people not being able to think and drive, it would be a nightmare to have people trying to queue up for pumps.

Evidently you weren't at the A1 gas station in Annandale last weekend. I got blocked out and cut off by a pickup truck driver when trying to get in line on Saturday night. They had a line because they were selling regular for $2.11 when everyone else was selling it for $2.30-2.40.

I wouldn't wait in line to save $2. I don't even pay attention to gas prices anymore. Not worth the time or effort. I use the Fuel Rewards from Giant Food at Shell and call it good.

Man, I know! I see the chumps waiting in a 20 car deep line at Costco in Fairfax and I wonder, jeez is it really worth spending 45 minutess in line to save a couple of bucks at the most?
