Can the Westwood Country Club fireworks be seen clearly from 123?

Yeah, just park your car on the side of 123 and get your kids out to watch from the roadway.

Westwood's fireworks are for the enjoyment of Westwood Country Club members and their guests only.

They don't own the sky!

Actually, Westwood does own the air rights over the club and the fireworks being deployed. Good day.

You can't tell somebody to not look at what is in the sky if they are standing on the sidewalk on 123 you pompous ass.

I can't? But, but, but...I just did now, didn't I?

Perhaps what you should've said was, "You can't force someone to not look at what's in the sky..."

Well, don't you worry, "bro"...Westwood has got the enforcement angle covered, too.

The club's board is using its considerable influence to engage the services of a local towing company on the night of the 4th. Please be advised that from 6PM - 10PM, the FCPD has declared a 5 mile towing perimeter surrounding the club. All vehicles except those bearing the club's parking decals and parked within the club confines will be towed. Furthermore, any citizens located within this perimeter (save again those club members in good standing on club grounds) gazing upon the club's grounds and/or sky will be detained and released after 10PM.

Dear Judge-

Vienna Police handle Vienna, NOT FCPD.

If there is a no parking zone for a five mile radius then nobody can park to see the public fireworks in Vienna.

Asshole. You tried the same thing with Springfield Country Club.

There's no "trying" about it. Both clubs have an interest in creating a no-view perimeter so we have made this a combined effort. And yes...I misspoke. For Westwood, the Vienna Police is involved with enforcement and not FCPD.

Judge _Smails didn't misspeak, he lied. A five mile circumference from Westwood is outside the boundaries of the Town of Vienna and thus not the responsibility of Vienna Police. The CC is roughly two miles from Tyson's Corner malls, Vienna doesn't have jurisdiction there. If he were a “true” Judge as his name seems to imply, then he must've been a really, really bad judge. Maybe he's just someone who thinks he is significantly more then what he is. I'm glad he doesn't represent the CC.
