What political affiliation am I?

My friends on the left think I'm a Republican/Conservative. My friends on the right think I'm a Democrat/Liberal.

Gay/LBQT issues: I don't give a shit. If you want to identify as something you aren't, that's your business. If you're gay and want to be unhappily married like everyone else, go for it. Overall, I don't care. Just don't expect me to treat you differently or expect special advantages.

Abortion issues: Whatever. Most people would suck as parents anyway. So please have abortions. Just don't expect my tax money to pay for it.

Guns: I believe in the 2nd Amendment. I am a constitutionalist. I have done tons of research on the subject and it's clear that guns are not the issue. The issue is access to guns by criminals, emotionally distressed, and kids. Solve those issues and your 1% gun deaths by mass shootings and 75% of gun deaths by handguns will go away. Also, eliminate the loophole allowing private gun sales without a background check.

Taxes: I think EVERY person in the US should contribute tax revenue to the system. Every person should have some investment in the country. The 44% who pay no taxes (getting 100% back during tax time) as well as the wealthy who pay no taxes should all be forced to pay taxes. Eliminate the tax loopholes for everyone and every business. It is time we collect from everyone as well as get rid of government waste.

Social programs: I believe there are people out there who need a helping hand occasionally. But that doesn't give permission to create a lifestyle of living off of complete strangers. I feel there should be lifetime limits on the amount of assistance someone should be allowed to have. Nobody forces people to skip school or goof off. At some point, people need to take responsibility for their own decisions they have made.

Immigration: I like immigration. I welcome people to come to the United States. Even the people here illegally serve an important role. But, I am not for allowing people here illegally. Connolly just said the other day that the law is the law. I agree with him. We should enforce immigration law, but instead require that all people in the US illegally report to immigration and register so they can be kept track of just like other US citizens. And the penalty for not complying within one year will result in deportation.

So. What is my political affiliation? I always say I'm an independent. But my friends are all one-issue dumbasses.

So, you're saying Trump is pro-gay, pro-abortion, and pro-immigration?

I just too the political typology quiz...interesting results

https://www.people-press.org/quiz/political-typology/

Your best fit is...
New Era Enterprisers
along with 11% of the public

This relatively young, economically conservative, Republican-leaning group tends to be relatively moderate on immigration and views about America’s engagement with the rest of the world. Most say U.S. involvement in the global economy is a good thing and that immigrants strengthen the nation. As is the case with other GOP-leaning groups, a majority of New Era Enterprisers reject the idea that racial discrimination is the main reason many black people are unable to get ahead. Nearly two-thirds favor societal acceptance of homosexuality. New Era Enterprisers are less critical about government than other Republican-leaning groups.

The graphs in the results put me square in the middle.

Trump was for gay marriage years ago. He's not anti-gay at all.

Trump is not pro-abortion unless the life of the mother is at stake.

Trump is pro-immigration. Just not for open borders or illegal immigration.

So yeah, you're probably a trumptard.

How about me?

I:

Love what Trump is doing to our government. He's doing to the federal government in reverse what globalist progs have done to every formerly noble and decent American institution like the NFL, academia, Star Wars, ESPN, Hollywood, video games, athletics et al...and infiltrated and turned it into 'prog space'.

But instead, Trump is openly mocking the sneaky, burrowed globalists, progs, and democrat party embedded throughout the federal government and the anti-American, pro-globalist spy agencies FBI, and CIA.

We know the globalists and their democrat party have accomplished their mission of infiltration and propaganda. It's reflected in some of the shit my kids say when they come home from Fairfax county public school and tell me about their day and what they were taught, and what some of their friends are saying about Trump.

The only two solutions are to mock it and burn it to the ground, like Trump is doing, or round up the progs for 'reeducation'.

I guess we'll see in November 2020 to plan accordingly.

I pretty much agree with you on everything. I consider myself an independent. I voted for Hillary in the last election but will vote for Trump this time around. I don't affiliate with libertarians as most seem to be stoned crazy people who love gold and Ron Paul.

Thanks for the responses.

New Era Enterprisers fits as does a slightly right-leaning independent. I'm def not a Libertarian because many of the true Libertarians believe in legalization of just about everything. Most Libertarians are a little out there.
