2-Year-Old Found Playing Near Road In Vienna: Police

A woman is facing a child endangerment charge after allegedly leaving a child alone outside.

VIENNA, VA — A woman was charged with child endangerment after allegedly leaving a young child alone in Vienna on Monday, Oct. 14.

The incident was reported around 8:14 p.m. in the area of Glyndon and Locust Streets SE. A man walking dogs found the 2-year-old child playing near the road. The child approached and asked to pet the dogs, and the man tried to locate a guardian. A woman who said she was the child's grandmother arrived.

Police determined the grandmother left the child on the patio and knocked on the door for the mother to get him. After that, he was allegedly left alone.

The woman, who was not identified, was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

No charges filed. This is called "free range parenting" and is all the rage among libtards.

How much do you want to bet that at some point an interpreter was involved in the investigation? When I was in Korea in the 90s it was not uncommon to see toddlers in diapers playing in the street (not major roads mind you) with no parents in sight. Different culture, different mindset.

Those garden apartments are mostly inhabited by Hispanics, so the kid was probably a spiclet.

The mother was probably hoping for a late term abortion while she was entertaining a John. Celebrate Diversity!

I'm guessing these were foreigners. I saw a three year old Asian kid almost get hit by a car at Giant Food in Vienna one day. The father had two young kids with him and he was pushing a cart away from the store and his kids were way behind him. The dad didn't even see the incident because he wasn't watching them at all.

Ridiculous.

Hell, there was a family in Rockville last year whose neighbors (plural) called CPS (not even adam-12, yo!). Their crime? Letting their kids walk to fucking school...by themselves. They were 10 and 12 as I recall.

Fuck, we walked more than a mile to school in fucking kindergarten by ourselves...See when you play in the street at 2, it ain't no thing to walk to school.

My neighbors drive their kids to school and it's 3 blocks away. Talk about calling CPS...
