Ross Perot ran as an Independent Party candidate. He promised to achieve a "flat tax" (against the rich, meaning the rich pay the same tax as the poor).

(currently the rich get great discounts and pay no luxury tax other than standard retail tax: which they often find a way around (such as registering a boat being for entertaining business clients)

DEMOCRATS DIDN'T CARE ONE IOTA. HE WAS OLD AND WHITE, not young and diverse, talking about honesty not talking about deviousness junta power "pick your junta one will rule the other": all points against Perot.

I'm rich and I would LOVE to pay the same tax rate as poor people.
