Overpriced Trummer's To Close. Hopes To Reopen In A Month With Lower Prices

All of us at Trummer’s on Main are excited to announce a 10 year renovation and re-launch! Starting Monday August 26th we will transform into a more modern, casual and family friendly American bistro. Join us for Every Day Dining with a new menu highlighting some simpler, less expensive options and an entirely new section on the menu of spit-roasted meats, fish and vegetables on our brand new specially designed Rotisserie from France! We will keep some of what you love and enhance the menu with new dishes and items that will entice you to dine with us any day of the week.

The ownership, chef and our entire team will not be changing – but we have heard your feedback and ideas and look forward to presenting a new face based on what you’re looking to see at Trummer’s over the next 10 years. Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey and shared extensive feedback and ideas - you are helping to shape our family business.

Stay tuned for updates on Facebook as we go through a transformation. We will re-open in late September and look forward to welcoming you back!

Victoria & Stefan Trummer

Trummer's holds the distinction of being pretty much the best restaurant in the tiny little Town of Clifton. In the galaxy if NoVa area eateries, it fares much less well, though they do still with some success roll out an ambitious if over-priced menu. If you lived near there, it might be a decent spot to frequent. But the hassle of having to travel there would render it worthy only of being crossed off the list.
