A politician steers tax money (not his) - perhaps in-equitably. The courts can be invoked in such a case for proper weights and balance

He's sitting in office of Attorney General, meaning he can block lawsuits against Democrats.
But he's a politician: (D) Senator of Virginia before he held office as Attorney General.
Can law be fair if a politician is deciding fairness?
