After I got off work yesterday I drove 50 miles out of town and checked into a cheap motel on the side of the highway. You might want to rethink that or you could learn the hard way that having bedbugs from a cheap motel sucking your blood every night is far worse than anything else you may endure at home. If I were, I wouldn't bring your clothes or bags back in the house afterward and you would do well to put everything through the dryer a few times. Otherwise, it may cost you plenty to get rid of the critters who could check out with you. As I understand it, the only effective treatment is to have a professional heat your entire home hot enough to cook all the bugs.

I vote your Father's Day plan the most ill-advised and shortsighted.
