The racist Democrats on the FCPS School Board are using Sharon Bulova's misguided "One Fairfax" initiative to declare that schools need to be more racially balanced, whatever that means.

To accomplish this goal, school boundaries are being redrawn to cause white students from schools such as Langley and McLean to be bused out, to create room so that black/brown students can be bused in.

A counter-proposal to expand school choice, currently available only to a few thousand Fairfax County employees, was rejected.

The lawsuits that are sure to follow these actions will bring national attention to the declining performance of Fairfax's once-proud school system, which continues to be hurt by the school board's social-change meddling in the classrooms.

If everyone is treated equally, either (1) a lottery decides who goes to what school, OR (2) no one is bused.

Bussing in the sixties wasn't done to integrate Fairfax schools. It was done to minimize the number of students from historic black neighborhoods attending Fairfax schools that had political clout. By the end of the seventies the influx of white residents had driven down the percent of black students low enough so that no longer mattered. Since then school boundaries have been drawn to insure that schools with clout minimized the number of below middle class (or in the case of Langley and McLean below upper middle class) students they had in their boundaries. This has lead to a situation where in large portions of the county kids are going to high schools that are not the closest high school to them.

Rich people put their kids in private schools. Upper middle class parents move to Fauquier County. Per usual, it's the middle class who get fucked here. County employees and feds who settled in good neighborhoods with good schools who will watch 3rd world shit eaters be bused into their schools while their kids get bused to Jefferson Davis Highway ghetto schools. MS13 at Langley. Now that's gonna be good.

Who in their right mind thinks this is actually a good idea? Jesus Christ folks. We have to vote these people the hell out. My kids also attend private school, and this was before I even heard of this terrible idea.

No Langley kids are going to be bussed to Route 1 and no kids from Falls Church or Justice will be going to Langley. People living in the core of Langley's district have nothing to worry about. They will still be in a private-public school. Same for McLean.

A bunch of kids from the western part of the Langley district will be shifted to Herndon or South Lakes. If Langley has to pick up kids it will be from McLean. McLean in turn will poach from Marshall. Where things will get interesting is with the boundaries of Marshall, Madison, Oakton, Herndon, South Lakes and Chantilly. Logically Falls Church would also be in the mix, except that Falls Church already has vacancies. Not sure about Centreville. South of that Justice, Annandale, Woodson and Robinson form a fairly solid block of capacity plus schools that are unlikely to have their boundaries altered again.

It's the Oakton and Madison folks who'll get really screwed in this. Those Asians who moved into the Oakton pyramid are going to see just how much juice Ilryong Moon has now. He'll fight like hell to keep his constituency happy, but the libtards on the board will roll right over his chinaman ass. And he's a libtard too, but will always put the needs of the slants over ideology.

The schools currently duxe for boundary adjustments are all elementary schools.

Voting for democrats caused Fairfax County to go the way of California. Did you know that Fairfax is now a sanctuary county? Decisions with the Board of Supervisors and FCPS school board are all using the "One Fairfax" lens.

The FCPS school board is planning to reboundary the schools based on income and race because with the "One Fairfax" lense, there's nothing more impotant than "equity" (whatever that means)

Upper Middle Trash move to Fagqueer County. The school system sucks balls unless you are from some dump like Manassas.

Manassas was mostly woods and farm land in the 1960's with a small town of souther whites - mostly who subsisted off building the fairfax that people thing of as "old fairfax" (pre-bulova) people see today.

I remember builders in fairfax building "new" (now older) neighborhoods.

They were from richmond area not fairfax one told me - fairfax got workers from that far away in VA that helped build "fairfax" (not including newer neighborhoods illegal aliens built). they didn't wear gloves because gloves costed money skin grew back. they didn't wear shirts because t-shirts were expensive, tore, had to be washed: and skin tanned. they had carpenter's belts and some the proper shoes (some wore regular sneakers - which back then were higher quality than today's proper roofing shoes btw)

Need Home For 440 Unaccompanied Minors in Fairfax County

The federal government is looking at Fairfax County for another space to house hundreds of unaccompanied immigrant children, according to a new notice posted by the General Services Administration.

The notice posted on FedBizOpps.gov says the GSA seeks to lease shelter space for 440 unaccompanied children on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Refugee Resettlement. These children are defined as "age 17 and under who are unaccompanied by parents or other legal guardians and who have no lawful immigration status in the United States (unaccompanied alien children) and apprehended by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security."

The facility will be between 95,607 and 109,948 square feet with a lease up to 15 years. About 147 staff will provide 24/7 care. According to the notice, the facility will have children's bedrooms or sleeping areas, children's bathrooms, classrooms, recreation or multipurpose areas, medical service, food service, administrative and support space, and about two acres of outdoor recreation space.

The notice calls the potential facility "Virginia (National Capital Region) Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) Shelter." The estimated date for occupancy is July 2020.

Shelters for immigrant children are run by private agencies under contract with the Office of Refugee Resettlement. Children are supposed to be placed in age-appropriate facilities and have access to social workers, counseling and education while they wait to be placed with sponsors.

Racially balanced means spreading the undesirables (anyone who isn’t white) evenly across the county.
