Good news is that Ryan McElveen lost for Chair, meaning we may still have a Board of Supervisors willing to stand up to the financial demands of the School System.

Also encouraging was Niedzielski-Eichn's and the Planning Commission's defeat in Providence, even if it came at the cost of Dalia A. Palchik and the FCPS winning. Unfortunately Hunter Mill failed to follow through and chose Alcorn. Meanwhile Lusk's victory in Lee was another defeat for Fairfax residents and a win for the Economic Development Authority.

Braddock was a lose-lose proposition, but there are other candidates in that district for the general election. Descano beating Morrogh is interesting, but in practice probably won't result in as many changes as some here think.

Just more slaps in the face shaping up here for the right-wing. Trump and his criminal cronies are just driving the electorate to the left.

Trump isn't moving the electorate to the left. People are for the most part exactly where they were before Trump announced he was running. What Trump did was to make the left more motivated, which in turn has made it more visible and more powerful.
