Giordino's Italian Restaurant Overpriced!

How in the hell can this restaurant charge 18 bucks for mediocre Lasagna? 17 bucks for 3 cheese ravioli? 16 bucks for a calzone? You get much more and higher quality food at Maggianos. This food was the same quality as you'd find at Spartans in burke for about double the price. NEVER going back there again!

This is the place in the Kings Park Shopping Center next to Giant. It's been an Italian restaurant 3 times over, and the food menu is the same each new owner/name. They must have raised their prices for the same crappy food. Last time I was there the Lasagna was about $14-15 dollars, not $18.

I work in the restaurant biz and Italian food is notoriously high profit margin because with the exception of cheese it's generally the cheapest ingredients. Bread. Tomatoes. Pasta.....all cheap on the wholesale. I would never pay $18 for strip-mall Lasagna. that's about a $15 margin on $3 worth of ingredients

Higher the prices the more the suckers line up to pay.

The Crazy Lasagna at Ozzie's Good Eats (Fairfax Corner) is $18, but it's worth every penny! First class stuff! And big enough to stuff yourself and still have some to take home.
