I have a circuit that is dead, I have fooled with it enough, time to bring in a pro. Any suggestions would be great.

We used Kolb several years ago when we needed a new outlet for the dryer. See some negative reviews but we had no problems. Cost was $ 176.

You might try googling electricians in Fairfax, Va with the added search string "Angie's list". A lot of contractors display the seal on their web site.

I highly recommend Ricardo Torres. Very professional and excellent pricing, used him for over 5 years. A one man show...stay away from the large enterprises.
Phone 703 927-3493 or 703 590-7186.

auto mechanics have to diagnose circuit diagrams containing ~ 20 computers, a wide array of sensors and electro-mechanical devices

perhaps a mechanic should look at it

electricians that work on "homeowner homes" rarely see circuit diagrams

The circuits in a home are the same whether a builder or a buyer owns it. Any electrician who does residential work can handle the problem.
