It has been well over a month, did your little darlings tell you about it? "No," you say? They didn't tell you the GMU campus police had to get involved because your kids acted like assholes to adults?

Let me be clear, no other school in the country would have their kids behave as badly as the TJ kids behaved at the talent show. They showed no respect for property, no respect for signs, no respect for adults.

Ask your kids about the sign, and when they tell you what they did, Punch them in the jaw. They deserve it.

Do you even know what went down? There is a Steinway piano on the third floor with a sign next to it saying "please, no food or drink on the piano." So, those high SAT scoring ruffians stacked their backpacks coats, and instrument cases on top of the piano. When they were asked to remove items off the piano they refused, because the sign said nothing about backpacks.

The police were called in to make these smart guys follow instructions.

There are other examples of no empathy built in Indian culture hurting the world, including the software an Indian company designed for Goldman Sachs in 2001. The software was designed to predict a mortgaged property's value 10 years and 20 years after its purchase. They used historical economic data to program their predictions. Unfortunately, they disregarded any market corrections or downturns, believing markets will always rise. After relying on the software for eight years, it was criticized and scrapped in 2008. Some blame the principle elements of the software on the mortgage collapse because it would not see the consequences of its own actions in determining all property will grow in value, creating a glut in overvalued mortgages. Again, no empathy to anything.

When an Indian American teen holds a door open for me, like most white, Latino, Black, and Pacific Rim kids do, I will be impressed, because I don't see them being that part of society. When an Indian American man walks shoulder to shoulder with his wife, I will positively take note. When an Indian American tells me the Civil War was not a really bad thing, comparing it to Indian history, (which has happened, and I am looking at you Suba), I see a person who still sees castes, and accepts them. You have a long way to go.

The government never taught the villagers maintenance of bathrooms, and within two years these shiny new bathrooms were in disrepair and disgusting. No one in the village took responsibility, not toward maintenance, but to even build a cleaning schedule for the bathhouse. So, after destroying their new bathhouse, they were back to shitting in the fields. Again, not my responsibility, I am not doing it, and no empathy toward others.
