Like in Eastern Europe, everyone shits in the street (there's no plumbing to speak of) marries their cousin, Lynch gypsies and hangs garlic outside their windows and doors to keep ghouls out.

Bure isn't that much different than Clifton. I visited a village in Bosnia once while working for USAID, and thought it was reminiscent of Burke aka "Burkestan".
