Lake Braddock Basketball

Did anyone see the nice article about LB boys basketball? Brian Metress is a good coach and it seems he's hit on something for those schools that aren't loaded with hoops talent.

Reminds me of Paul Westhead's Loyola Marymount approach. Although that didn't fair too well at GMU!

Brian and his father are embarassing!! They cry and moan at the refs drung the entire game. Coach the players and stop whining!! Wining or not ...coach or get rid of him. LB has enough embarassing coaches....havent they learned.

It was a few years back and it went on for months...

Insufferable whiney parents who don't understand why their kids aren't all being recruited to play at Cameron Indoor...

This is a different situation than with the football coach. Metress has found a system that works for the pool of talent at Braddock and it’s snowing. They shoot 49 3’s a game and press the whole game. Score in the 90’s frequently with multiple 100 point games. Let’s see how they act in the “real season”
