SCOTUS will send it back with regulate not ban as these firearms are today some of the most popular in common use to defend peoples homes. If class III full auto machine guns can be regulated successfully since 1934's National Firearms Act so can semi autos that take detachable magazines. All that said it is possible that a bill that regulates such firearms may pass and the president would sign it but such a bill will be introduced by the Republicans not the Democrats

So Mark Warner and his Democrats are going to seize these guns and not pay the lawful owners anything ? Seize lawfully purchased personal property that is protected by the 2nd amendment of the Bill of Rights that cost owners around 5 billion dollars, the same amount as President Trumps wall ?
