CLAYTON • Metro's Cross-County Extension, which produced millions in damages and legal fees in 2007, is producing litigation again.
In the new case, Metro is suing the city of Clayton for $1.9 million for work at the Brentwood Boulevard-Forest Park Parkway interchange related to the extension.
Clayton previously paid Metro $796,538 for that work and says that's all it owes. Clayton says Metro wants the city to cover Metro's own cost overruns and mistakes.
