There is no way in hell that Trump will survive the mountains of evidence that Mueller is accumulating. Now NBC is saying Cohen's tap was a pen register, as opposed to a wire tap. Not sure what that is. Anyone with actual technical knowledge would be welcome to explain for us non-LEO and/or non-criminal subject matter experts.

Having some time to think about it, this revelation spins everything into a new light.

1 subpoena was issued due to fear of doccuments being destroyed. Now we know they had Cohen's phone tapped.

2 What the hell did they have on Cohen already that they were able to tap a lawyers phone. Mob cases, I am not aware of any major cases where the attorney client privelage was violated on the lawyers end. They got something big.

3 This explains Rudy most likely. We know he shut down months ago, everyone kepts asking where is the motor mouth rudy. Obviously he decided he had to shut up. But why all of a sudden did he sign on to trump's defense and not only that yesterday convicted his client?

Rudy is trying to save his own ass. He's on those wire taps. I bet he tries to assert client attorney privelage with him as the lawyer and trump the client on some of those Cohen papers. On top of that I speculate that he may have signed on to throw trump under the bus hoping that with dumbfuck going down they miss or ignore his involvement.

A pen register is a low grade form of surveillance. The content of the conversation audio is never heard, but the time, date and numbers (in and out) are recorded. Think of it like having a Caller ID you didn't consent to on your line.

The Steele Dossier says that Cohen was involved in making "deniable" payments to Russian hackers. And it is quite clear that with this LLC business in the Stormy matter, Cohen is well versed in making "deniable" payments.

One FBI mandate is to protect the nation from espionage, so if Cohen is going to cavort with Russians abroad, depending on the Russians involved, he could get on the FBI's radar real quick. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if some Russian mob aspect is involved.

And then there are the domestic issues, like the taxi cab medallions and so forth. And this general subterfuge to manipulate money does give rise to fraud suspicions.

3 out of 4 registered voters in a recent poll think Mueller's investigation is not aimed at finding the truth, but rather on taking down Donald Trump. They'll never be able to impeach Trump with only 20-24% of voters having faith in the investigators. Now, if Mueller's team comes up with something really damning, that would change. Down 6 points in 1 month from 60. Barely a majority now and there are almost no undecideds here. 43% now want the probe to end, up from 31% 8 months ago.

Even democrats now know Mueller is running a political witch-hunt. They just don't care and want him to keep going. That's why 77% of voters think Mueller's investigation is about taking down Trump but half of voters still want it to continue. But the independents are now waking up. Soon, only partisan democrats and never Trumper GOPers will support it. It will be at 40% by July. That is when Trump is going to fire Mueller and Rosenstein. Keep watching the polls. When it hits 40% support, Trump pulls the trigger.

With the judges in both the Flynn and Manafort cases now openly questioning Mueller and his witch-hunt, the end is neigh. Judge Sullivan is refusing to proceed with the sentencing phase for Flynn, questioning both the tactics and authority of Mueller's team. And Judge Ellis in the Manafort case excoriated Mueller's team, accusing them of lying and running an out-of-control investigation. Ellis is refusing to move forward until he sees the unredacted scope memo from Rosenstein to Mueller to confirm that Mueller has authority to pursue Manafort for money laundering.

The actions of these two judges will add to the undermining of Mueller and his team. Hope the Morning Joe tards have something more than Mueller to hang their hopes on. Mueller will be out by summer.
