Sunday April 22nd - Earth Day on the National Mall

At the end of April, environmentally-conscious citizens in Washington, DC head to Earth Day on the National Mall to band with thousands of other peers to raise awareness about the world’s changing environment.
Earth Day on the National Mall is one of the many events celebrating Earth Day around the globe and draws local and international celebrities, civic leaders, and politicians. Earth Day on the National Mall features performances by popular music acts, speeches from the celebrities in attendance, a youth rally, voter registration, renewable energy demonstrations, interactive exhibits, and embassy and non-profit booths.
Earth Day on the National Mall is free to attend and usually runs from about 12pm-7pm. Earth Day on the National Mall’s main stage is set up within steps of the Washington Monument and the Reflecting Pool.

You missed activists like Al Gore and Tom Steyers line their pockets with cash from the propaganda that they spread from the speeches they give on Earth Day. They then permit you to live your soul-less life by pedaling your bicycle back to your ecologically minded 500 square foot studio apartment while they are whisked away in a limo so that they can go to Europe in their Gulf Stream jet to their 500 acre, 10 bedroom, 6 bathroom mansion on the Riviera. And....they do not even thank you for your sacrifices.
