What people need to know about the Principal of Fairfax Villa

It's no surprise how inhumane Liz Bumbrey is after seeing so many staff members leaving the school due to her treating them badly, but this one just makes me so furious! One of the teachers shared go fund me page link with the school staff via email to support her student in getting a seizure alert service dog and she basically got in trouble by the selfish principal by doing that. She talked her down and made the teacher cry. Are you serious?

Fairfax Villa has always been a family for as long as I know and it's so sad to see this culture crashing by some principal who is

1. Selfish
2. Hypocrite
3. Rude
4. All about herself
5. Not smart at all

She needs to leave the Villa. Her ego is not what should represent Fairfax Villa. Villa family is done seeing her putting a show every day and not doing a thing to support the staff. If anything, she should not have reprimanded a teacher asking the staff to share a good cause!

I think you should delete this post. You are unaware of the full story. She asked the teacher to not use an “ALL” email address and gave her an alternative way to share with the entire staff without using the specific “all” email. Please stop spreading stories you know nothing about.

I don’t want to feed the trolls, but I also feel it’s important to represent the voice of the majority—the decent, community-oriented parents and other community members of this great neighborhood school.

I am personally grateful my daughter attends a school with highly competent educators, including both school leaders. I hope they are not disheartened by this stupid thread.

In my job, no one would ever write about workplace grievances on a public message board, so I cannnot fathom what compelled the OP to post their petty issue here. Grow up! At least our children know better than this.

To FVES teachers and school leaders: thanks for your hard work!
