FAIR OAKS MALL ANNOUNCES TWO NEW DINING OPTIONS
On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina and Brio Tuscan Grille will join
center’s lineup of more than 200 shops, services and dining establishments
FAIRFAX, Va. (April 17, 2014) – Two new dining options are scheduled to open by late fall of this year at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, Virginia.
On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina will be located at the Eatery upper level entrance, opposite Elevation Burger and adjacent to Sears. Originally based on sizzling fajitas, frosty margaritas, happy hour and a booming patio, On The Border has evolved and expanded over time to include a variety of craveable dishes inspired by the cuisines of South Texas and Mexico.
Brio Tuscan Grille will open on the upper level of the enclosed two-story mall, opposite The Cheesecake Factory and adjacent to Verizon Experience and Build-A-Bear Workshop. Brio Tuscan Grille features prime steaks and chops, homemade pasta specialties and flatbreads prepared in an authentic Italian wood-burning oven. Brio’s villa-like interior will feature arched colonnades, hand-crafted Italian mosaics, Venetian plaster walls and marble countertops.
Both On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina and Brio Tuscan Grill will feature outdoor dining patios.
Fair Oaks Mall is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation including interior and exterior upgrades. The renovation project, now in its second and final phase, is targeted for completion by the 2014 holiday season. Upgrades to the mall and grounds include new lighting, flooring, entrances, landscaping and interior and exterior signage. New seating areas being introduced throughout the mall include contemporary modular furnishings, café table seating, and “tech tables” with charging outlets and high-top stools.

Fair Oaks will be the new Tyson's eventually. Tyson's is a headache to get to and parking is a bitch. Fair Oaks is more accessible and has a great location. The owners are smart to be investing in their property. And I love On the Border.
