Best place for flight instruction
Posted by: Pilot ()

I am going to re-start my efforts to get my private pilot license in the near future. Was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for schools and/or specific instructors in the area. I think Manassas airport (KHEF) is the only place close to me, so anything there would be great. Also, if anyone has any recommendations for ground school, that would be great, too.
Thanks!

Be sure to enroll in the Mohammed Atta program...

No landing instruction required!

You want to "re-start" your pilot training, but if you had ever been to any flight school or even taken an introductory ride at one, you would already know that there are no "ground instruction schools" because that's naturally included and integral in every course of flight instruction. When you sign up for lessons at a flight school, part of the cost is the books and materials, and "ground instruction" begins immediately. Even on an introductory "see if you would like to learn to fly" experience, the first thing that will happen is sitting down in the classroom space and talking about what will happen before you go for a ride.

Therefore, you have never had any flight instruction at all.

There being no point to inventing a fake history of flight training in order to ask for school recommendations, you are probably trolling. Maybe you pretend that you have had flight training and wish that you could be a pilot, but have never talked to anyone who knows anything about it. Or even watched a YouTube about flight training. Maybe you are deeply disturbed psychologically in several ways.

In any event, please stay away from the airports.

I have been on this forum for long enough to have guessed I would get 95% bullshit answers and maybe 5% usefulness. I am not going to even entertain the fucktard troll poster who questioned my previous flight training. But it is humorous that such a shitbird moron would not do any research into flight school as to realize that ground school is a good way to get the instruction required to pass the FAA PPL knowledge test.

Av Ed... Thanks, Vienna Assholes LLC. I was looking at that one, too. It's closer to my house - Manassas is too far for twice a week classroom instruction.

Now, if anyone has any experience with either American Aviation, Aviation Adventures or Dulles Aviation, I would appreciate it.

And thanks FFU, as always, for keeping me laughing. Maybe this time I will get that 5% good information that I am looking for.
