What is going in behind aurther treachers?? at fairfax circle

i have driven past aurther treachers a bunch of times and was trying to figure out what all the construction is about behind their... They have had these steel plates cover the ground that are annoying....

spaking of Arthur Treachers, it used to be operated by Indians/Pakistanis....
but when I went there recently, it was operated by Koreans.

Remember when there was a gas station next to the Arthur Treacher's called Homoco? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Since June or so there has been some kind of constructon on rt 29 heading west towards fairfax circle in the median. Except, it extends into the left lane so far that you have to drive into the right lane to avoid the hole. No warning signs or anything, just some cones.

Laundromat, hispanic restaurant. Parking lot is horrible at lunch time. Plan your laundry carefully to avoid that time.
