What happened to truth in advertising?

Those who like to buy grass fed ground beef, be aware that you are paying a lot more for it than the labeled price. Take for example Thomas Farms grass fed beef. The package is 1 lb. It says on the front of the package that it is 85% lean and 15% fat.

When you use it to make 4 nice big burgers, flattening them out to a 6" diameter size so that they will shrink down enough to still fill a burger bun, you will find that when done cooking you have little 3" diameter burgers left swimming in a pan full of fat, which after the 4 burgers per one package were finished, the fat filled 1/3 of a 32 oz Vlasic sized empty pickle jar.

Worse, on the product ingredient label in the back of the package, they reveal that there are 17 grams of fat per serving, which is 15%. So how come the burgers shrunk 50% and left a total liquid content of 1/3 of a pickle jar? Was the meat filled with water above the fat content so you pay all that money for grass-fed beef that is half water and fat?

listen closely dumb ass. you can return food to the grocery store if you feel there is an obvious defect.

since you haven't done that, the store has zero clue about problems with the brand

You have a consumer issue, not an advertising issue. All grocery stores have money back policies, and all you need to do is return the product to the store.

Politely request to speak to the store manager, and politely explain your concerns. The manager will take care of you, and deal with your problem.

I say to be polite, because many people use a small customer complaint as a excuse to become an total asshole.

OP, how does what other people do with their food negatively impact you? Why do you care?
