Substitute teacher busted

West Springfield Police District – A Fairfax County Public Schools substitute teacher is facing drunk in public charges today after students at Robinson Secondary School found him passed out at his desk. Konbeh Koroma, 24, of Springfield, was filling in for an art teacher who taught grades 10-12 when students noticed he was unresponsive and tried to wake him up. A school resource officer was contacted and an investigation revealed Koroma was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and taken to the Adult Detention Center.

Thank you to everyone for the support. You can never learn from mistakes in life until you truly lose something special. This moment bundled up in sadness has been waiting for me my whole life. I just fought to push it back as long as I could until I couldn’t fight no more. I'm thankful I’ve met it and now can see the beauty in the world moving forward. This moment won’t define me.

Millennial snowflake teachers apparently cant hold their alcohol. Back in the day I'm sure a number of our teachers were going through a couple fifths a week to deal with us. I'm pretty sure a few had flasks in their desks.

They can't get good subs because the pay is so bad....retired teacher sub pay is $15/hr....what an insult to all the years of teaching and all the education that a retired teacher brings to the job. You get what you pay for.
