Are Pizza Huts going extinct in Fairfax County?

I used to live near 2 pizza huts, and they both shut down! Now I have to drive for half an hour to get my pizza hut! Are pizza huts starting to go extinct?

Yes, there are fewer of them in Fairfax County. Around 15 years ago there used to be one in Greenbriar Shopping Center next to Chantilly. Like any business which provides poor enough service to its customers, it closed. That one, once good, in its last years, no one attending to you when enter the restaurant, poor upkeep of the salad bar to the point of being unhealthy, etc. etc. Sad to say, corporate greed got in the way, as I expect the workers were not well paid.

there’s a Pizza Hut inside the Target store in Chantilly. they even serve hotdogs.

The Taco Bell in Chantilly/Dulles Expo Center did and may still do, but I have not been in there recently, as trying to eat a little more healthy.
