We told you last week about the Loudoun school that presented a worksheet to 8th grade civics students laying out the political spectrum with the Ku Klux Klan adjacent to conservative Republicans. We are now hearing from the mother who tipped us off on this worksheet that the principal of her child's school has confirmed that this worksheet will be changed and no longer used in its current form.

We will have more on this story on today's Larry O'Connor Show on WMAL. This may seem like a small victory, but it's actually huge... YUGE!

This proves that we, the people, do still have some control over our schools and if we stand up and attempt to make change, we can do it. It starts in the schools. It starts on the school board. It moves on to city councils and then county government. It progresses to the state legislatures and, eventually it triumphantly engages Washington DC. This is the change we can make. And it all starts with you.

So who did she put next to Democrats? Antifa? Socialists? Nazis?

Can you post the e-mail address for this Loudoun teacher? I have a few comments I'd like to share.

Similar to the South Carolina teacher from last month:

"Teacher who asked students to justify KKK is suspended"

A South Carolina teacher was placed on administrative leave Friday after including a question about the Ku Klux Klan in a homework assignment.

The Lexington-Richland School District 5 teacher gave an assignment to fifth-graders, who were asked, “You are a member of the KKK. Why do you think your treatment of African-Americans is justified?”

Obviously not a history teacher. The solid south voted Democrat for over 130 years. The KKK was started by and supported by, that's right, Democrats. The 15th and 16th amendment's were written and passed by a Republican Congress and President. All possible because the slave owning Democrat' s couldn't be seated in Congress because they were in open insurrection. Maybe this teacher missed that portion of her history class.

Tell ya what, how about no....
Not unless u demand every highway, school, rec center, mural, etc. named after Malcom x, Obama, and Caesar Chavez come down...

Stop comparing statues of Confederate leaders with memorials to Cesar Chavez or MLK. Malcolm X may have used unfortunate rhetoric but at bottom he was trying to bring the downtrodden up, NOT, like, for example, Nathan Bedford Forrest, using terror to keep the downtrodden DOWN. There is no moral equivalence between Cesar Chavez and Nathan Bedford Forrest, nor will there ever be. At least, not in this universe. Second, the segregationist Dixiecrats left the Democratic Party after the 1964 and 1965 Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts were signed into law. Over time, the segregationist whites were completely gone from the Democratic Party, and today almost exclusively inhabit the Republican Party. The anti-black, segregationist rhetoric faded from public political speech, and was replaced by terms like conservative, moral, and values. Those are code words for segregationist, anti-female, and anti-gay. Conservatives cannot accept the idea of blacks and browns having equal rights in a non-segretated society, the idea that women can be in charge of their bodies, nor the idea that gays are entitled to live their lives with whomever they wish, free from oppression. The great moral failing of contemporary conservatives is the abandonment of republican ideals in the quest for the votes of segregationists.

That could very well be, but in the meantime, God's work must truly be our own. Conservatives are assigned the following homework: Consult your personal Bible, whatever translation appeals to you, and quote the passage where Jesus encourages the setting up of graven images in veneration of those who took up arms to keep humans in bondage. Chapter and verse, please.
