Interstate 95 south is closed near Kings Dominion after two tractor-trailers collided, leaving the highway covered in garbage.

The wreck happened before 8 a.m. near the Doswell exit, and all lanes remained closed as of 11:45 a.m.

State police are diverting traffic off the Doswell exit (exit 98) to U.S. 1. Both ramps from State Route 30 are closed.

Traffic was backed up at least eight miles, transportation officials said.
