Drive Thru Car Wash

Does anyone know where there is a drive thru car wash in Fairfax or Prince William where you actually sit in your car as it goes through the car wash?
Thanks in advance.

Um, like every gas station with a car wash works like that.

Really? I never tried one at a gas station. It seems pretty small, and a friend said in the gas station car washes, you just drive in and basically park, it washes your car, then you drive out.

I am talking about the ones we had in NJ when I was a kid and you drove through the whole building that was basically the same as an Embassy Auto Wash, but you got to stay in the car.

Oh... Like one where it pulls you through... Yeah I don't know where you will find one like that anymore. All the gas station ones you do just pull in. That lame bar moves around the car and does a bad job at cleaning anything off.

Those are all fronts for those mobbed-up bastards in NJ. The money used to subsidize those things comes from the shake-downs those assholes do on the Lower West Side. Damn Ginnies!

I think its called Dr. Wash, its on the left side of Jiffy Lube off 29 in Centreville. You sit in the car through the wash, go through the dryer, lopp around and then you get out so they can vacuum and do final touchups.

Lee's Car Wash in Vienna has rail track system, but many have complained about scuffed wheels from the track system.

Is this some kind of stoned obsession?

I saw Dr. Wash today, but I drove up and asked and they said you don't get to stay in the car.

Not a stoned obsession, though that would be fun...I just need to take my car to the car wash and remembered enjoying sitting in the car going through the wash when I was a kid.

At the one in Centreville, you sit in the car while it goes thru the wash part, and get out while they vaccum. I went 2 months ago and this occured, though I did;nt get the vaccuming part (im cheap)

BS. I have my car done there every 2 weeks on Saturday, and the process has been the same ever since they opened.

At the Burke Center Goodyear at 123 & Burke Center Parkway they have that type of car wash, you drive it in and the track pulls your car through.

This one is called 7 Car Wash. It's in the Clocktower shopping center. It has the rail system and you can sit in your car as it pulls you through. They do a pretty good job, too.

Sud's carwash in Centreville, right on Lee Hwy. I usually get the #2, plus Rain-X. comes out to about $26, they vacuum and clean out the interior.

They claim that it is the "Biggest Car Wash in Northern Virginia"

I've heard thier detail work is really good too. (if you're getting your car detailed.)

tip: keep an eye on them while they're vacuuming. I watched a guy looking through my music collection, he didn't take anything.

on the corner of rt 7 and baron cameron in great falls (maybe reston) there is a great one. not sure what it is called but it is actually attached to a place where you stay in your car for the oil change too. they do not pressure you into other stuff either like jiffy lube. the car wash is free with the oil change or you can do the wash on its own. the car wash line gets really crowded b/c they do such a great job. you stay in the car the entire time.

I just went to the above mentioned Dr Wash in Merrifield today. pay 10 bucks for the works pull ur car up on thr tracks, hit it in neutral, takes like 2 or 3 min to pull u through the whole thing, air dryers at the end and then the green light flips on when ur car is off the track. that is definitely a good one to go to

The Shell on Franconia Road just up from Van Dorn Street used to have one of those stay-in-your-car washes. It's been a few years, so I don't know if it's still there or not.

Liberty Wash & Gas on 236, in beautiful downtown Annandale, has a good brushless basic car wash that pulls your car through, for $7.00. If you use the Valpak coupon, you can get it for $5.50
