Fire burns down 12 apartments in Fairfax City

(WJLA) - According to the City of Fairfax Fire Chief, a two-alarm apartment fire started on Monday afternoon at 4311 Bob Ct. on the third floor and extended to the attic.

Some residents of the apartment jumped from the second floor, and there were four with minor injuries, and one was transported to the hospital. Fire crews also rescued several pets.

There is currently damage to 12 units in total, some from water damage -- units will not be livable.
