The road conditions that were brought on by the latest winter weather event caused customers that were unable to conduct business during the last week, to stamped the fucking DMV.

End of month plus people now getting out this weekend after the blizzard to run errands so DMV has two weekends worth of traffic.

Migrant time. They always wait to the end of the month, tying to foist them fake papers. The call it "overwhelm and some might make it".

Go to Westfields and arrive an hour before they open.

I had to get my vehicle inspected yesterday (safety and emissions). Frankly, I thought I'd be screwed with the wait with it being the last weekend of the month and the storm last weekend. I pulled into line - 3rd place. Then, the guy in front of me left, pushing me to 2nd place. Was out of there within 45 minutes. I guess everyone was at the DMV instead of getting their vehicles inspected.

If you just need vehicle title or registration tasks performed, go to one of the DMV Select offices. The closest one is at the Fairfax city hall on Armstrong St. They're not open on weekends, but they are during the week. Sterling also has such an office. The longest time I've ever spent in such a location was 15 minutes.

Only stupid idiots go the the DMV to renew their tags. The only time I go to DMV is to either register a used car that I purchased privately or to renew my driver's license. Just about everything else can be easily done on line. There is no reason to go there for license plate renewal when it can easily be done on line. My plates expire at the end of February and I renewed them on line today. I'll have my renewal in hand weeks before the end of the month and it took me all of 90 seconds to renew on line.

Why is it that there are water and soda machines in the hallway, but sign before you enter says no food or drink allowed inside?

There are a LOT of "stupid idiots" who forget or procrastinate until the very day their tags expire. If you talk to the clerks they will tell you that.

Shit for brains, but that is the way it is.

Everybody knows Fair Oaks Mall is in the DMV, you could have left that part off.

not that much better. End of month the wait will be a couple of hours. Go to the mobile DMV. The schedule is on the DMV website. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes. They go to the Fairfax Govt Center the last Friday of the month in the front parking lot.

I send one of our office flunkies to do the shit work.

Maybe hire more people?
