I honestly did not see that coming. I thought for sure they'd give Barry at least one more season. I don't think it was all his fault the defense was shite. Players missed assignments every other play.

And his outrageous salary is the reason the Redskins defense sucks ass. NO money left to get any decent players. He is no $24 million man. If he gets sent packing, he will be lucky to get $8-10 mil a year.

No, once again the Redskins "brain trust" (LOL) has screwed the pooch another time. They could be stuck with him and his $24 million salary next season.

Unfortunately, about 5+ teams would and will pay him 25mil + if available. Many sorry ass QB's in the NFL...and the "brothers' usually have 1 or 2 good years.

Good move. The skins D has been mediocre to sucky. Sure, they had injuries (Kerrigan multiple times and Hall out all year) but the play calling was bad and like the dude above said, missed assignments and bad tackling goes back to bad coaching in the end. No discipline.

That's false. They had plenty of room still available under the cap to sign more players, but they didn't find any that they thought would be worth the money.
